DALIAN, July 23 (INP): The top government official of China’s Yingkou city of Liaoning province has said that YingKou Pilot Free Trade Zone to become the key hub of international sea railway combined transportation and the key point of logistic center and supply chain in Northeast Asia region under Belt and Road Initiative.

While briefing to a delegation of foreign Media at YingKou, he said that it will develop into a conducive environment, convenient investment, efficient supervision and outstanding radiation to build a pilot area for Liaoning and even the whole Northeastern region.

Earlier, in March 2017 the Chinese Central government approved the establishment of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The Yingkou comprehensive Tax Free Zone has been approved by the state council and, together with the Yingkou Area and the High Tech Zone, forms a “multi wheel drive” and a new international stage for Yingkou to open up to Northeast Asia and Far East regions, he added.

He said that taking the opportunity of the manufacturing industry expansion in the pilot free trade zone, to cooperate with the strategy of “China Manufacture 2025”the traditional processing and manufacturing will be displaced by high end manufacturing that is high added value, advanced technology, green and occupies less area.

To set up the platform of bulk stock trading, bonded commodity exhibition trading and cross border e-commerce, and to upgrade the processing trade. A regional exhibition center for Northeast China will be built, he added.

He further stated, “A logistics channel will be built for the Belt And Road and Northeast Asia.The construction of multimodal transport and comprehensive system of transport is being speeded up. An international express hub and distribution center will be established. It is to focus on the logistics of manufacturing industry, trading, e-commerce, cross-border, bonded, cold-chain and exhibition, so as to create a new value chain system.”

Yingkou is located in the Northwest of Liaodong peninsula, northeast of Bohai Bay, at the Liaohe River estuary.146 km away from Shenyang, 179 km away from Dalian.

Media Delegation also visited Dalian City which is the most open and energetic port city in North China with a population of 6.99 million people and an area of 13600 square kilometers. It is the famous financial, commercial and trade, transportation and tourist center in North Asia.

Formally founded in 1998, Dalian Software Park is located in the Higher education Science & Technology Cultural zone in Xinghaiwanpan of Dalian city with a total area of 3 kilometers. At present, it has become the comprehensive commercial park with the highest proportion of foreign enterprises, the highest export volume of software and service, the most enterprises of over one thousand staff and the richest and the most international service outsourcing business forms.

Dalian Software Park provides the whole industrial chain service from industrial planning; park construction planning consultancy, project construction management, property management consultancy and operation, investment attraction and value added services .The journalists delegation also visited the Free Trade Zone Yingkou and Dalian area.
