BEIJING, Jan. 21 (INP): Experts believe that China’s emerging political system will be a role model for the entire World in an effort of providing good governance to the people and bringing justice and equity in their life. Commenting on the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee’s proposed writing President Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the Constitution, the experts including those from home and abroad termed the move as highly significant to CPC and China’s political life. In their reports, published in the Chinese media on Sunday, they hoped the Chinese amended constitution will help promote peace, prosperity and development at levels According to the experts, the revision to the Constitution is a crucial political decision made by the Central Committee based on the overall situation and the strategic height of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.. The CPC Central Committee values the opinions and suggestions from non-Communist parties, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and those without party affiliations before holding important conferences, issuing important documents, and making important decisions. President Xi addressing a symposium here said non-Communist parties and the united front have made significant contributions to the establishment and the development of China's constitutional system. Major theoretical achievements, principles and policies adopted at the 19th CPC National Congress will be incorporated into a revision to the Constitution, according to a communique issued after the second plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee held in Beijing Thursday and Friday. New achievements, experiences and requirements of the development of the Party and nation should be embodied in the revised Constitution, according to the communique. "We should keep pace with the times and improve the Constitution while maintaining its consistency, stability and authority," the document said. A total of 203 members of the CPC Central Committee and 172 alternate members attended the session, with Xi, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee in the chair. The Committee called on the whole Party to unite around it, with Xi at the core, and adhere to "socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics."
