SHENYANG, July 23 (INP): The top officials of China’s Liaoning province have vowed to develop their cities as international centers in Northeast Asia. They have said that China’s development has entered a new era and it will usher in new opportunities and the cities will increase trade and development activities under Belt and Road Initiative. While addressing a delegation of foreign media at Shenyang city on Monday, Deputy Director General of the provincial government Information Office Mr Wang Xuelai said that Shenyang is located in the center of the Northeast Asia Economic Circle and Bohai Economic Circle and it is important center city in Northeast China, advanced equipment manufacturing industry base and national famous historical and cultural city. With the outstanding regional traffic advantages and strong economic development foundation, Shenyand has been rated as “A Gamma-World city” by GaWC. The goal of building Shenyang into international center city in Northeast Asia by 2030 was proposed, more specifically enhance the comprehensive strength, making Shenyang rank among the advanced cities of Northeast Asia and generate strong radiation driving capability from the international first class business environment to realize international trade liberalization and facilitation, and create east passage junction of “The Belt and Road” to build Shenyang into an open door of Northeast Asia , to give full play to the role of core city in Shenyang Economic Zone and basically build Shenyang into a majestic International modern metropolis with complete functions, first class quality, and in unity of form and spirit, he added. “In order to speed up the progress of building Shenyang into international center city in Northeast Asia, we will thoroughly implement Xi Jinpings socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the 19th CPC national congress and adhere to the international perspective and international standards”, he added. He further added that in order to strengthen the construction of Shenyang Northeast Asia Science and Technology Innovation Center, Shenyang city will further strengthen the organization and leadership, strengthen financial guarantees, improve the promotion mechanism, strengthen the working atmosphere, and take the efforts of the whole city to promote the construction of Shenyang Northeast Asia science and Technology Innovation Center. “Now, all over the world, a new round of technology revolution and industrial transformation starts up breeding, the regional industrial upgrade speeds up its pace, and the new era of reform and opening up is in its full swing”, he said. Mr Zhang Shaorui, Province Development and Reform Commission Deputy Director, Mr Shen Qiang administrative division director and other officials also briefed media delegation. The journalist delegation also visited the Free Trade Zone Shenyang Area, Siasun Robot & Automation Co. Ltd, Shenyang Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and New World Expo, Shenyang 1905 Park of Cultural Originality, China-Germany Equipment Manufacturing Park and BMW Brilliance Automobile Ltd and Lang Lang Piano Park. Leaders of Shenyang City also introduce the Construction of a Comprehensive Innovation and Reform Experimental Area, Interviewing.
