China contains COVID-19 by the rule of lawBreaking

March 29, 2020

Islamabad, March 29 (INP): China's measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic have been criticized by Western media as violations of individual freedom and authoritarianism without the rule of law. According to a CGTN's report, in fact, China passed the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseasesaas in 1989 and made important amendments in 2004. During China's novel coronavirus outbreak the Chinese government has always upheld the rule of law, which is a crucial reason why the epidemic was put under control, the report added. It is worth-mentioning that the Chinese people showed a sense of responsibility as a living nation, strictly following the rule law that paved the way of successfully overcoming the fatal virus. And it is the reason, today China's Model is being followed Worldover, including Pakistan.
