BEIJING, Feb. 9 (INP): Chinese nation has proved it's moral strength and it's government's capacity and strong determination handling crisis, when it successfully fought SARS epidemic in 2003. It was well established at that time that the Chinese government and administration really care about the people, they do their best to protect them, no matter if someone Chinese or not, they have no discrimination. The people just need to trust them, cooperate with them and follow instructions. According to an article, carried by China Economic Net on Sunday, the Chinese people are not in a state of panic, as they already fought a similar battle in 2003 when there was SARS in China. The article was contributed by Nadia Parveen, a Pakistani student in University of International Business and Economics in China. The article says, at that time this nation bravely fought not only the virus but also defeated it. So this is not a new situation for them. Secondly the most important reason is the trust of the Chinese people in their Government and administrations. These are several steps or measures which have been taken at the administration level but the most impressive one is the behavior of general public. To protect the students, in all universities their administration is continuously in touch with their students, they have created special groups to collect their data and keep track record that how many students are currently in the campuses. They are checking their temperature on daily bases and all the students are instructed to stay in touch with their supervisors. In case of any issue or problem or illness students are instructed to contact any one of them for immediate help and treatment. Even supervisors are asking to their students again and again about their health like they are their own children. Strong security check on the entrance to make sure that students inside the campuses are safe from infected people and if they find someone as suspect they are isolating them for the treatments. The article says that there is no reason for the foreigners living here to be panic, as things are well placed and the Chinese nation is confident it will very soon get rid of this fatal virus, same as was in 2003.
