Two accused of supplying counterfeit drugs on medical stores were arrested and huge quantity of fake medicines were recovered from their custody. Taking notice of surge in supply/sale of fake medicines, Assistant Commissioner Kasur, Rizwan ul Haq Puri launched operation against the culprits involved in illegal practice. During operation, two accused of supplying fake drugs on medical stores of the city were arrested with hundreds of packs of counterfeit medicines of different kinds. The recovered fake medicines were confiscated and the detainees were being investigated after registering a case against them at B-Division police station.
