Two children died while their father got injured when the roof of a house caved in at Haideri Road, Gujranwala. According to rescue officials, the roof of a four-storey building collapsed suddenly trapping the family under the debris. Rescue officials conducted a two-and-a-half-hour-long operation to rescue the people trapped in the collapsed house. The rescue officials recovered the bodies of two children identified as 11-year-old Abdul Hadi and three-year-old Arham. The 39-year-old father of the deceased children was also rescued from the debris in an injured condition. Rescue officials have shifted the bodies and injured to the DHQ Hospital and reported the incident to the police.
