A suspect was shot dead while his accomplices managed to flee in a retaliatory firing after attack on a police mobile van in jurisdiction of Rawat police station in Rawalpindi. According to details, the police during routine patrolling signaled to stop five suspects but they resort to firing at police instead. In the retaliatory firing, one suspect was killed while his four accomplices managed to escape from the scene. The body of the suspect was shifted to a hospital. The police cordoned off the area after the attack and conducted a search operation but no arrest could be made.
