Six held, drugs seized by ANF in different operationsBreaking

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 498 kg of hashish from a vehicle on Quetta Kuchlak Bypass and held a Killa Abdullah’s resident. According to ANF spokespersons, ANF seized narcotics in different operations throughout the country. The ANF team intercepted a vehicle near Sangjani Toll Plaza Islamabad and recovered 36 kg of hashish that was being attempted to be smuggled by stuffing in the speedometer and back seat of the car. Two smuggles, residents of Khyber, were arrested.

In another operation, 2 kg of hashish, hidden tactfully in a drill machine, was recovered from a suspect near Jhelum Turkai Toll Plaza. In the same fashion, a man was detained at Dina Mangla Bypass for hiding 75 grams of ice and 64 grams of heroin in his shoes.In yet another operation, the ANF officials recovered 4kg and 800 grams of ice at Hub Western Bypass.Separately, a Sharjah-bound passenger was held at Islamabad International Airport with 49 heroin-filled capsules in his stomach. Separate cases have been registered against accused under Anti-Narcotics Act.
