Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary (CIS) Raoof Hasan stressed the need for encouraging the sane voices instead of curbing and castigating them in order to rein in extremist and violent tendencies. In a statement on Thursday, PTI CIS said: “I pride myself in being a voice of sanity.” He said that such voices were needed in every society to curb extremist and violent tendencies. Raoof Hasan stressed that such voices need to be encouraged, not curbed and castigated. “I thought I will share this. May be, there is still some space left for sanity to prevail,” he added.
