The police have arrested an injured robber after an alleged police encounter in Kasur on Monday, police official told media. According to police, a citizen called police and informed that two robbers had stolen a loader rickshaw and cash from a laborer at Dipalpur Road near Sadar Police Station in Kasur.

A Police party rushed to follow the criminals, as the bandits saw the police party they started firing directly on police. The police also retaliated in which one outlaw was shot injured. Police arrested the injured robber, while the other managed to escape.

The injured robber has been identified as Adeel. A stolen motorcycle and a rickshaw were also been recovered from him. The police shifted the arrested robber to the hospital for medical assistance while further investigation is under way. The runaway suspect has also been identified and teams have been formed to arrest him.
