A rescue official was shot dead over a property dispute in the area of Khadian police station in Kasur on Tuesday. According to police, the rescue official was killed by his nephew, who barged into his uncle the house and opened indiscriminate fire at him and in result the rescue official was killed at the spot.The accused fled after committing the murder of his uncle.

The police after receiving the information of murder reached at the crime scene and took the dead body into custody. The police collected all possible evidence from the crime scene, police said. The officials added that the body of the deceased has been shifted to DHQ Hospital for post-mortem and raids are being conducted to arrest the suspect.
