The Rangers and the police in a joint operation have arrested an accused involved in robbery and banditry in Karachi. According to the Rangers spokesperson, the accused Amjad in a robbery incident snatched Rs. 6 lakh at gunpoint from a shop of Taj Malik in the town of Kati Pahari, and during making his escape, shot injured two passerby girls. The accused can be seen in the CCTV footage while fleeing.Spokesman of Rangers said the accused had confessed to more than 200 cases of robbery in different areas and looting more than Rs. 5 million from citizens. Moreover police on the base of information given by the accused have started raids to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
