Police have appended four alleged suspected drug peddlers in separate operations conducted in different areas and have successfully seized narcotics and liquor from their possession on Wednesday.According to a spokesman for Bahawalpur, the police received a tip-off which led to the arrest of two individuals involved in drug trafficking. The operations were carried out by police parties from PS Cantt and PS Qaimpur. As a result, 1,070 grams of hashish were recovered from the suspects. The suspects were identified as Imran and Shafique.The police of PS Baghdad-ul-Jadid have arrested a suspect recognized as Arsalan and recovered 25 grams of crystal ice from his possession. Meanwhile, Derawar Police apprehended a suspect identified as Balam and recovered 50 liters of liquor from his possession. The police have registered separate FIRs against the suspects, respectively and initiated further investigation.
