Pakistan has diagnosed another 72 people with coronavirus infections while one fatality was reported during the last 24 hours, showed the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Monday morning. According to NIH data, the death toll in the country now rose to 30,607 while the number of total infections now stood at 1,571,894 after adding the fresh 72 cases.

During the last 24 hours (Saturday), 13,311 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio stood at 0.54 percent. The number of patients in critical care was recorded at 82 as there are 5117 active cases in the country. There were 105 more recoveries recorded during the last 24 hours as 1,536,170 have recovered from the deadly disease so far.
