A policeman was injured in firing by dacoits in the jurisdiction of Khanna police station in Islamabad on Monday. According to police, the dacoits were busy carrying out a dacoity when a police team reached the spot. The accused opened fire as soon as they saw the police team. Constable Nawaz was injured in firing by the accused. The police also arrested one of the dacoits. On information, Superintendent of Police (SP) Hassan Jahangir reached the spot. The injured constable was shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
