Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar on Friday cancelled his visit to the United States where he was to attend the annual meetings of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank. The finance minister called off his visit keeping in view the prevailing situation in the country. Ishaq Dar was scheduled to visit the US from April 10 to 16. Now, the Pakistan delegation led by federal finance secretary and governor State Bank of Pakistan will go to Washington to attend the IMF and WB meetings. They will also hold talks with the IMF officials.
