Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf Central Senior Vice President Shireen Mazari has voiced her concern that the appointment of Army Chief is a very serious matter at the state level, how a ‘convict’ sitting in London can make such critical decision regarding top state appointment asserting that it is a complete violation of the Official Secrets Act. In a tweet posted on Monday, the former human rights minister Shireen Mazari wrote: “This is exactly what Imran Khan had expressed his concerns about and he was immediately targeted by Imported govt its handlers! As it happens he has been proven right. Convict making sensitive decisions regarding State institutions in complete violation of Official Secrets Act. “There u go if any proof needed that a convict sitting in London will make this imp decision. For that he wld be given confidential info in violation of Official Secrets Act. OfficialDGISPR any reaction to this very political statement itself a violation of Official Secrets Act?”
