Five retailers who were illegally deducting money at the Benazir Kafalat Center have been booked by the Alipur police station on Wednesday. The Assistant Director (AD), Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Fiaz Aziz informed media that their devices have been blocked until further order. He briefed that he conducted a surprise visit based on a tip-off at Government Boys High School, Alipur and Boys High School, Ghalwan. He discovered that between Rs 500 to 1000 were being deducted from deserving women's accounts, including Bashiran Bibi, wife of Khursheed, Parveen, Kalsoom, Ruqaya, Maqsood Mai, and many other women, in the name of service charges. The AD BISP said that the fraudulent individuals, including Muhammad Wasim, Sajjad Hussain, Shakir Hussain, Muhammad Yunis, and Mujahid Hussain, were registered in separate FIRs.
