The police and intelligence agencies personnel foiled a bid to smuggle arms and arrested two culprits during an operation here on Friday. The police along with intelligence agencies personnel conducted Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in suburbs of Pakpattan city. During operation, illegal weapons including six pistols, a 44 bore rifle and 2500 rounds of different bores were recovered from a Wagon R vehicle and two accused were arrested. The police impounded the vehicle with recovered arms and after registering a case against the detainees started an investigation.
