The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan seized 5399.943 kg drugs & 68 liters Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) chemical worth US$ 381.219 million internationally, arrested 45 persons including five women, two foreigners and impounded 12 vehicles while conducting 38 counter narcotics operations throughout the country. The seized drugs comprised 3125 kg Opium, 380.5 kg Heroin, 1465.881 kg hashish, 221 kg Morphine, 206.002 kg methamphetamine (Ice) 1.510 kg Ecstasy Tabs (2500 x Tabs) and 0.050 grams weed. The ANF Balochistan recovered 4645.4 kg drugs & 68 liters Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) chemical in 14 operations while arrested five persons involved in drugs smuggling and impounded two vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 3103.4 kg Opium, 371 kg Heroin, 750 kg hashish, 200 kg methamphetamine (Ice) and 221 Kg Morphine.
The ANF Punjab recovered 553.236 kg drugs in eight operations while arrested 16 persons including two women involved in drugs smuggling and impounded four vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 21.600 kg Opium, 5.500 kg Heroin, 525.886 kg hashish and 0.250 kg methamphetamine (Ice). The ANF Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) recovered 33.960 kg drugs in seven operations while arrested four persons including two foreigners involved in drugs smuggling and impounded a vehicle. The seized drugs comprised 4 kg Heroin, 25 kg hashish, 3.500 kg methamphetamine (Ice) and 1.460 kg Ecstasy Tabs (2400 x Tabs).
The ANF Sindh recovered 160.170 kg drugs in three operations while arrested four persons including involved in drugs smuggling and impounded two vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 160.170 kg hashish. The ANF North recovered 7.177 kg drugs in six operations while arrested 16 persons in drugs smuggling and impounded three vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 4.825 kg hashish, 2.252 kg methamphetamine (Ice), 0.050 kg weed and 0.050 kg Ecstasy Tabs (100 x Tabs). Separate cases in all incidents were registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 (Amended 2022) and further investigations were under process.
