Chairman Senate and Acting President of Pakistan Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday announced signing Election Act Amendment Bill shortly. Taking to social media, he wrote, “Due to the absence of President Arif Alvi, the government is likely to have a big break in making the Election Act Amendment Bill an Act of Parliament.” Chairman Senator Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday reached the President House where he assumed the charge as Acting President of Pakistan due to absence of President Arif Alvi.
Sanjrani said that the government is likely to get a major breakthrough in making the Election Act Amendment Bill an Act of Parliament. It is likely to be signed by Sadiq Sanjrani as the Acting President of the country and it will be implemented immediately. After being signed by the Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani soon, the Election Act Bill will become an Act of Parliament.(M.Awais)
