The Sindh Police has submitted its quarterly report on the ongoing Kacha operation to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh and claimed to arrest 208 robbers during the operation, police sources told media on Thursday. According to the report, the operation against dacoits is ubnderway in the rough areas of districts Ghotki, Kashmore and Sukkur by the police. According describes that in Ghotki, 5 robbers were killed and 4 injured in 63 encounters, while in Sukkur, 8 robbers were killed and 27 injured in 53 encounters. The report further states that 6 robbers were killed and 3 injured in 42 encounters in Kashmore, while 5 robbers were arrested in 31 police encounters in Shikarpur. Police said in their report that 208 robbers were arrested during the operation in Kachem and 30 citizens were protected by honey trap during 3 months.
