Islamabad, August 14 (INP): Pakistan marks its Diamond Jubilee, the 75th Anniversary of Independence Day, Chinese leaders and diplomats extended warm wishes to the nation.
 

Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong wished Pakistan and its people Independence Day through a special video message. The video message said that all Chinese together with their Pakistani friends are jointly celebrating the Independence Day of Pakistan.
 
The video message showed Chinese and Pakistani employees and companies working on top China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects extending their wishes to the nation.
 
The Chinese students studying in Pakistan also sent their wishes. The Chinese ambassador on the occasion watered the bamboo of China- Pakistan friendship.
 
China’s Consul General in Karachi Li Bijian greeted the Pakistan Government as well as the people of Pakistan on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Pakistan.
 
In a message, Li Bijian said: “With the unremitting efforts and hard work, Pakistan has been making continuous progresses and achievements in the national building and her comprehensive national strength has been ever expanding.”
 
“Today, Pakistan is one of the most important players and contributors to the peace, stability and development of the region and the whole world. With the concerted efforts by both sides, the bilateral relations and cooperation between China and Pakistan in all the fields have been ever strengthening and expanding, and CPEC has brought tremendous achievements and benefits in the social and economic sectors of Pakistan,” he said.
 
“China’s commitment in CPEC is strong and lasting. My Consulate was, has been and will work closely with Pakistan brothers and sisters, and spare no efforts to contribute to bring the bilateral relations to a new height,” he added.
