In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian agency, Enforcement Directorate, along with paramilitary and police personnel raided the houses of a religious leader Qazi Yasir and jailed Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Zaffar Akbar Butt in the territory. The New Delhi probe agency along with Indian paramilitary and police personnel, today, raided the house of Muhammad Akbar Butt alias Zaffar Butt at Bagh-e-Mehtab in Srinagar.

Zaffar Akbar Butt has been facing illegal detention since 2021 in Kot Bhalwal jail, Jammu. Another team of the agency also raided the house of Hurriyat leader and religious scholar, Qazi Yasir in Qazi Mohalla area of Islamabad district.During the house raids, the agency took property documents and mobiles of the family members of the leaders.
