In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Peoples Democratic Party has said that the anti-encroachment drive is another attempt to seize locals’ land and effect massive changes in the demography of the territory. While expressing condolences over the death of former president of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf, PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti in a tweet said that Musharraf wanted a solution to the Kashmir dispute according to wishes of people of Jammu and Kashmir. However, she deplored that India has reversed all Confidence Building Measures initiated by him and the-then Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, yet “the ceasefire remains”.
