The vanguard team of Khunjerab Customs House had worked for six hours straight to release the first batch of medical supplies aid to Pakistan. Ma, one of the vanguard team members, recalled that, “It was -30℃ at that time. The bitter wind blew so hard that our hands and feet were chilled. However, none of us had left the post. By the concerted efforts of the vanguard team, these materials aid to Pakistan were released successfully.” Only after they had finished the task, rubbed teammates their hands and feet on the way back. She added that their team had conducted four times temporary tasks like this. “They are my comrade-in-arms and they set a good example for me. I am extremely proud of being able to work in Khunjerab Customs House,” said Ma who has been working at Khunjerab Customs House since graduation in 2014.
