The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority held a workshop to raise awareness and increase voluntary tax compliance and enhance the capacity of withholding agents.

The event was organised with the support of the USAID and was attended by officials of universities, government and education boards in North Region.

KPRA North Region Additional Collector Umar Arshad Khan in his welcome address thanked the USAID for supporting them in the capacity building of the withholding agents. He shed light on the role of the withholding agents in assisting the KPRA in meeting its annual revenue collection targets.

Deputy Collector North Raheel Iqbal gave a detailed presentation on sales tax withholding regulations to the participants and clarified each and every section of the regulation.
