South Korea employes 2,000 Pakistanis in 2022: Ambassador

South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo said that some 2,000 Pakistani workers obtained jobs in South Korea under the Employment Permit System (EPS) in 2022.The ambassador was pleased that the EPS is increasing the number of employment available to Pakistani workers in South Korea. He said that his embassy will work with Pakistan to push the EPS project forward. As assistance for the EPS project, the embassy provided five computer scanners that may be used in a variety of uses, including the scanning of passports, he said.
