LAHORE, Sept 12 (INP): Punjab Chief Minister (CM), Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the national cricket team for winning the first T-20 international match of Independence Cup against the World XI. In a felicitation message on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistani cricket team presented wonderful play to achieve success and this success is result of teamwork and hard work of the players. He said the players have achieved success by giving best performance in every field. Babar Azam batted well and it is hoped that Pakistani players will show the same performance in next matches as well. The Chief Minister said that Pakistan has come a long way for the restoration of international cricket in the country and after a long wait; the arrival of World XI team to Pakistan is a historic movement. The arrival of World XI to Pakistan is first step towards restoration of international cricket in Pakistan, he added. He further said that the successful holding of PSL final has played an important role in restoring international cricket in Pakistan. INP/SB
