Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has urged Canadian businesses to invest in Pakistan and profit from a big consumer market. A Senate Secretariat official informed WealthPK that Chairman Sanjrani met a delegation from the Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association and the US Pakistan International Chamber of Commerce at his office. The two nations have a long history of warm and cordial ties, Chairman Senate told the delegation and added that Pakistan is determined to forge a deeper and more multilateral engagement with Canada.

He said special emphasis should be placed on trade and investment, as well as the introduction of Pakistani products into Canadian markets. He also emphasised the need for the facilitation of people's travel between the two countries. Both the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to taking constructive and meaningful measures to further improve Pakistan-Canada ties, the official informed WealthPK.
