A seminar on financing schemes initiated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) was organised at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). The event was organised in collaboration with Small and Medium Enterprises Committee of the Sialkot SCCI and the State Bank. Participants included Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS) Senior Vice President (SVP) Gulzaib Waqas Awan, Member of Executive Committee of WCCIS Syeda Shabina Gillani, heads of various banks, and a large number of business community members.

Chairman of the Departmental Committee of SCCI Shafiqueur Rehman welcomed all the participants and gave various suggestions to the SCCI members to expand their businesses. On the occasion, a senior bank officer briefed the participants about various bank services. The participants hoped such “invaluable” events could be organised on a regular basis to create awareness about the financing schemes. Useful information about financing schemes was shared during the event, which they said will help them expand their businesses.
