Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (SCCI) President Abdul Ghafoor Malik has praised the government for removing barriers to the import of raw materials. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) authorised the importation of raw materials and input products necessary for export-oriented industries on December 27, 2022, with effect from January 2, 2023.

Creating a supportive and business-friendly climate for the export industry would assist the country move toward economic progress and prosperity, the SCCI president said. Ghafoor also commended Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif for his active participation in drawing attention to the problems facing the Sialkot industrialists.
