PM urges Parliamentarians to focus on development/welfare of areas neglected in past

ISLAMABAD, Sept 13 (INP): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has urged the Parliamentarians to focus on development, welfare of the areas and constituencies which have neglected in past. The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Members National Assembly (MNAs) from Sargodha Division who called on him at PM House on Wednesday. During the meeting, developmental projects and matters pertaining to the respective constituencies of MNAs were discussed in detail. The Prime Minister said that the parliamentarians should especially focus on the development and welfare schemes in those constituencies that have not been at par with other constituencies in terms of the pace of development work. Discussing mega developmental projects, Premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the incumbent government ensured completion of even those critical projects which remained pending for decades. We must continue our developmental agenda and ensure that no region or constituency is left behind in journey toward progress and prosperity, the Prime Minister emphasized. The Prime Minister urged the parliamentarians to renew their efforts and also increase their outreach to the people for addressing their issues on priority basis. Minister of State for Religious Affairs Pir Muhammad Amin ul Hasnat Shah, MOS Mr. Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, Sardar Muhammad Shafqat Hayat Khan, Malik Muhammad Uzair Khan, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, Mr. Obaid ullah Khan, Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Dr. Muhammad Afzal Khan Dhandla and Ms. Shahzadi Umar Tiwana were present during the meeting. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed also attended the meeting. INP/SB
