Pakistan to give tit for tat response to Indian shelling: Govt to double compensation for victims of Indian firing: Zahid Hamid

PASRUR , Sep 24 (INP) Federal Minister for Law Zahid Hamid has assured the Indian shelling victims in Sialkot border villages that their financial compensation would be doubled soon, saying that the government was actively considering a proposal of doubling the financial compensation and it would be doubled by the government upon the arrival of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from London.   He stated this while talking the local people affected by Indian shelling after giving the financial compensation cheques of Rs.0.5 million to the grieved heirs of four persons who were martyred by unprovoked intensified mortar shelling in village Beeni Sulehriyaan-Charwah a few days ago.   Zahid Hamid strongly condemned the Indian BSF shelling on Sialkot border villages and killings of the local innocent people.   He termed it a barbaric act by India, saying that the armed forces of Pakistan has the full capability till defend the every inch of the Motherland, besides, giving answer to the enemy in befitting manners and retaliating instantly and effectively. Zahid Hamid Minister also termed Indian shelling on Sialkot border villages as an act of cowardice. He expressed complete solidarity with affectees of Indian shelling during his visit to Sialkot border villages. Later, talking to the newsmen at his native Pasrur city, Zahid Hamid said that Pakistan will give the tit-for-tat response to the India for targeting the civilian population by unprovoked intensified mortar shelling on Sialkot border villages by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) here along the Sialkot Working Boundary here.
