Cultural Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad Zhang Heqing has said that Pak-China diplomatic and friendly relationship has become even stronger. According to a statement received by WealthPK, he was speaking in a meeting with the newly appointed Director General of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Ayub Jamali. The senior Chinese diplomat congratulated Jamali on his appointment and appreciated the PNCA’s role in promoting local and regional arts. He expressed confidence that the PNCA will prosper and take the positive agenda further under Jamali’s leadership. The two officials also discussed cultural cooperation in different fields. Established in 1973, the PNCA has been promoting Chinese culture among other works as part of its goals. It regularly hosts Chinese cultural events. The PNCA is a national-level premier institute that aims to promote artistic activity and focuses on all forms of art, like visual and performing arts.
