The Organic Meat Company Limited’s revenue climbed 28.10% to Rs3.45 billion in the first nine months of the fiscal year 2021-22 compared with Rs2.69 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. Similarly, the gross profit of the company, registering a growth of 23.71% during the 9MFY22, stood at Rs546 million compared to Rs441 million in the corresponding period of FY21. The net income increased 54.95% to Rs321 million compared with a profit of Rs207 million in the corresponding period of FY21, reports WealthPK.

Financial Performance
During the fiscal year 2020-21, the company maintained a strong sales trend, generating a revenue of Rs3.9 billion with an increase of 16% over Rs3.4 billion in 2019-20. The gross profit for the year 2020-21 stood at Rs649 million, 4.44% up from Rs621 million the previous year. Profit after taxation for the year stood at Rs303 million, representing an increase of 14%, over Rs266 million the previous year.
Earnings Per Share
The earnings per share of the company witnessed a decreasing trend during recent years. In 2018, EPS was high and stood at Rs7.09, but then dropped to Rs4.46 in 2019, to Rs3.71 in 2020, and Rs2.78 in 2021. The Organic Meat Company Limited was established as a private limited company on July 14, 2010. It produces and markets meat products. The business also exports its goods to the Commonwealth States, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, the Maldives, Vietnam and Kuwait.
