The faculty and students of National University of Science and Technology (NUST) are working on the “Own a Village” concept for the revival of livelihood and shelter for the flood-affected people in the country. NUST’s “Own a Village” concept will cater for the revival of livelihood, shelter and community services by relying on a need-based assessment through engaging the community and local government. Some of the important features of this concept include the provision of seeds, fertilizers, insecticide sprays, agriculture tools, tractors, livestock etc, said a press release received by WealthPK.
