Board of Revenue (BoR) Senior Member Zahid Akhtar Zaman has stated that the board is launching a new portal system for verification, which would allow residents to get individual ownership of their property while seated at home. He added that ownership and individual sale deeds may also be accessed and printed using mobile phones while presiding over a meeting on the Pulse Project, digital Gardawari (a land ownership document), and the recently developed portal system.

According to Zahid, the portal system will shield citizens from fraud and safeguard their possessions. Along with the record of property sales and purchases, he continued, the portal will also have information about residents who have mortgaged their property. The rent paperwork would also be registered on the portal, according to him, and prior information on the rented property could also be viewed there, indicating which building or home had been rented to which renter in the past.

Zahid said, districts that do not finish digital Gardawari would receive notices. Additionally, he gave directives to the departments in charge of the 16 districts that have completed less than 90% of the computerised Gardawari. He said that the creation of rural revenue centres is a significant government initiative that has benefitted residents. The administration is attempting to modernise the Board of Revenue, he added.
