Nawaz’s indictment deferred to Oct 9; non bailable warrants issued for sons, son-in-law

ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (INP): The accountability court on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Nawaz Sharif's sons and son-in-law, while bailable warrants were issued for Maryam Nawaz and again summoned ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif on October 09 in three corruption references against the Sharif family. He remained in the Accountability court of Judge Mohammad Bashir for over an hour. Khawaja Harris, Nawaz's counsel, informed the court during the hearing that the Sharif children are busy tending to their mother in London and will appear in court once she is better. INP/LK/AH
