The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will set up four international tourism zones in the province with a view to promoting the sector and generating jobs for both the skilled and unskilled youth. “These tourism zones will be established in Mankiyal, Thandiani, Chitral and Mansehra,” Eng Sayed Mehmood, Vice-Chairman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Investment Board, said, according to WealthPK. “These zones will generate thousands of jobs for local people close to their homes, also enabling the government to collect handsome revenues,” he said, according to media reports.He said the establishment of these zones would help promote the tourism sector in the country. Concrete efforts are needed to achieve the goal.
He emphasized that development of a country hinges on imparting quality education and skills to the youth to help them meet the modern-day challenges. “Without encouraging and facilitating the skilled manpower, the target of creating a successful society cannot be achieved. If we have to achieve success in the comity of nations, our youth have to learn modern skills and quality education.”Eng Sayed Mehmood said the best quality of a product is a prerequisite for its success in the market, adding provision of the best possible services in every field is the second tool to open the road to accomplishment. Engineer Mehmood said the provincial government is taking steps to provide decent jobs to a maximum of young people.
