DAMASCUS, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Syrian air defenses on Monday defeated attacks over the capital of Damascus, the state news agency SANA reported.
The air defenses have downed several rockets, an "Israeli aggression" from Lebanese airspace, said the report.
No immediate damage or casualties have been reported.
On Tuesday, the Syrian air defenses responded to an Israeli strike in the central province of Homs by using big fire power to intercept the missiles. ■
