Jazz Cash, CDNS collaborate to increase digital inclusion

Jazz Cash and the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) have collaborated to find innovative solutions for collection and disbursement processes and increase the extent of digital inclusion in the country. Jazz Cash is a subsidiary of Jazz, and is one of the leading fintech companies operating in the country. Jazz Cash and CDNS will join forces to ease the payment methods for four million people under the Digital Financial Inclusion initiative.

Through the collaboration, senior citizens and widows will be facilitated to have digital solutions at their disposal. A Jazz Cash user will be able to receive profits in his/her mobile wallet and buy national saving certificates digitally through the Jazz Cash App. A memorandum of understanding was signed between Jazz and CDNS to the same end.

At the signing ceremony, head of Jazz Cash, Murtaza Ali said that Jazz Cash is committed to finding easy solutions for the people of Pakistan. “We will work on any solution that is cost-effective and saves time.” Director General, CDNS, Hamid Raza Khan, said that CDNS will forward any support needed by Jazz Cash to achieve the objectives of Digital Financial Inclusion initiative.

He said that “Jazz Cash wallet” is the latest wallet app in the country, adding that our collaboration will remain open to other potential partners as well. He said that National Savings is the largest investment and financial institution of the country, adding that it has a portfolio of PKR 3.4 trillion. He added that National Savings had 4 million investors who were valuable partners being served through its 376 branches spread across the country under its 12 Regional Directorates of National Savings (RDNS).
