LAHORE, Aug 10 (INP): Lahore High Court on Thursday accepted a petition for hearing seeking life-time disqualification of chairman PTI Imran Khan and chief of Pakistan Awami League Shaikh Rasheed. The application filed by Rana Alamdin Ghazi advocate argues that Imran Khan and Shaikh Rasheed do not fulfill the criteria laid down in Articles 62 and 63 of the constitution. The petition that names Imran Khan, Shaikh Rasheed, Election Commission Pakistan, and others as respondents argues that scandals involving women against Imran and Rasheed have been made public and a book in this regard also narrates the scandals of the two. Imran and Rasheed thus two should be disqualified for life because they do not meet the criteria laid down by the two above mentioned sections of the constitution. Chief Justice Lahore High Court Syed Mansoor Ali Shah will hear the petition. INP/LK/AJ
