ISLAMABAD, Dec 27 (INP): Islamabad Medical & Dental College’s Career Development Office held training sessions for the medical students and graduates to raise awareness and provide information about different career opportunities in UK, US and other developed countries.

Pediatric & Neonatal Surgeon/Urologist, Dr. Khizer Mehmood delivered a thoughtful and informative lecture on the topic of “Past, Present & Future of Pediatric Surgery” and discussed the possibilities, challenges, procedures, requirements and best practices for going to other countries for higher studies and jobs in the field of specially Pediatrics and others as well.

Earlier, Dr. Shahid Latif, Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director Adult and Forensic Directorate North Hampshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, conducted a session to provide information about finding and availing the relevant opportunities in the medical field in the UK.

A large number of IMDC students and graduates participated in these sessions and found them to be quite informative.

IMDC’s Managing Director Yasir Khan Niazi and Head of CDO Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal said the career development of IMDC students and graduates is among the top priorities for the college management and CDO is also planning to launch its exclusive website very soon to provide a network for alumni and mentors.
