“Expos are one important way in which business and economic activities can be revived in the country,” said Senator Fawzia Arshad Saturday during a visit to the 3-day “ICCI Pakistan Property, Housing and Construction Expo 22,” which is currently underway at the Pakistan-China Friendship Center.

She was all praise for the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry for organizing such a prestigious event to showcase Pakistani real-estate market. She was very hopeful that the Expo will bring a lot of investment in the housing and construction sector of the country.

Senior Vice President Jamshaid Akhtar Sheikh of ICCI, Vice President Muhammad Faheem Khan and other executives were also present at the occasion when the senator visited. President of the ICCI Muhammad Shakeel Munir said at the event that the purpose of the expo was to revive the economy of the country by bringing more investments into the housing and construction sectors.

“Construction and housing sectors played a crucial role in reviving the economy since more than 70 industries were allied with it. A boom in this sector revived production in all of the ancillary sectors,” he said. He expressed satisfaction and hope that the expo will further increase confidence in the strength of the economy and help revive its business activities. The expo has been used as a platform by a large number of companies from the real-estate sector to exhibit their future projects.

Not only the companies in housing and construction but all the allied industries of steel, marble, cement, construction machinery, sanitary ware, electrical work, paints, hardware, ceramic tiles & different items, solar systems, wood flooring, interior design products, kitchen accessories etc. and stakeholders, are participating in the expo to showcase their products and to increase their market reach.
