Huawei on The Forefront of Technological Advancement

May 20, 2022

By Hifsa Raja ISLAMABAD May 20 (INP-WealthPK): Most of the progress made by China in the last half-century has been in the production of automobiles, aircraft, and telecommunications equipment, particularly mobile phones. China had made remarkable strides in the development of technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). Huawei, a Chinese mega-technology private company, has been at the forefront of introducing 5G cellular networks. Attaur Rahman, Senior IT Service Engineer in Huawei, said while talking to WealthPK that Huawei is committed to a vision of digital transformation that emphasizes digitalization and sustainable development via advanced green technologies. “Because of its vision, Huawei launched 5G technology. Its primary objective is to enhance people's connectivity and quality of life,” he said. In February, Huawei launched Intelligent RAN, an advanced telecom network solution, in line with its goal to empower the telecommunications sector with more advanced innovations and value for its own business and other sectors and industries businesses by injecting intelligence into wireless networks and achieving an autonomous driving network in the wireless domain in future. In an environment where the economic condition of the people is on a downward spiral, conducting direct business on a small or large scale would be risky. Huawei offers ample employment opportunities, encourages a skilled staff, and then constructively engages them. Attaur Rehman said that the implementation of a unified legal framework by Huawei for a better economy requires considerable time, particularly in the Middle Eastern region, where other international firms also compete. He said the simplest approach to compete with them is to improve in the field of technology. Huawei prioritizes cyber security while collaborating with other businesses. “Huawei believes that employees will work in a befitting manner when their interest is placed at a higher level than their expectations. For this, product quality and employee motivation must be maintained. In order to compete in the market, emphasis must be placed on team knowledge and technology upgradation,” he said. Steven Yi, President of Huawei Middle East, at a recent roundtable from 10 Middle East countries highlighted Huawei's commitment to assisting governments in the region in achieving their digital transformation ambitions through the use of 5G networks and other innovative technologies. Steven Yi stressed Huawei’s commitment to supporting building digital economies in the Middle East region. “We need to be united to establish unified laws and regulations so that the digital economy can be protected,” he said. “Huawei has worked with customers to deploy 5G technology and hopes to see more use cases of 5G in vertical industries in the Middle East region. We are committed to openly collaborating with our customers and partners and extending our innovations and global expertise to the regional players for achieving more value in 5G deployment, in line with the ME countries’ socio-economic growth,” Yi said.
