Hand grenade recovered from Nullah in PU

PESHAWAR, Aug 10 (INP): Police recovered a hand grenade from a Nullah in Peshawar University on Thursday. After recovery of the grenade, bomb disposal squad was called in. A BDS team defused the grenade. It is to be mentioned here that Peshawar University is located near the tribal area of Khyber Agency which has been hit by militancy and terrorism. Pakistan Army has been engaged in anti-militancy and terrorism operation in Khyber Agency for last few years and currently Operation Khyber 4 is going on to clear some areas of the agency from militants and IS fighters.
