Secretary of the Punjab Industries and Commerce Department Sohail Ashraf said that the provincial government is supporting all the local and foreign investors in Bhalwal Special Economic Zone. He said that investors in the sectors of food processing, textile, and ceramics were given incentives by the provincial government to expand their operations and contribute towards the industrialization of the region.

He shared this information while chairing a meeting on progress of developmental works in the industrial estates. He said business opportunities were also being created in the industrial estate of Rahim Yar Khan where businesses can invest in cotton, ginning, leather, textile and plastic industries.

Sohail Asharf said, “Rahim Yar Khan Industrial Estate stretches over 465 acres of land where a grid station has also been established to provide uninterrupted power supply to the industries.” He said that the provincial government was using all resources to promote industrialisation in the province. “Our government’s vision is to ensure ease of doing business environment in the province and to provide better business opportunities to all industries for which all the relevant institutions are working with full commitment,” he concluded.
