ISLAMABAD, Jul 25: Pakistan exported furniture worth $9,361 during fiscal year 2021-22, as compared to exports of $5,208 during the same period of the previous year. Overall, the exports grew up by 79.74 percent in FY 2021-22 as compared to the exports of the commodity during the corresponding period of the previous year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Separately, the exports of gems increased by 14.10 percent, hitting $7,626 in FY 2021-22 as compared to exports of $6,684 during the same period of the previous year. The jewellery exports also increased by 4.56% during FY 2021-22, reaching $14,361 as compared to the exports worth $13,735 during the same period of last year.
